Bill Noll, Site Vice President

Bill Noll is the Site Vice President of Three Mile Island Unit 1.In this role, he has overall responsibility for the safe and reliable operation of Three Mile Island.

Noll has more than 30 years of experience within the nuclear industry. Most recently, he was Vice President, Mid-Atlantic Operations at Exelon. Before joining Exelon, he was Director, Site Operations, at Robinson Nuclear Plant in South Carolina. He has held roles at other stations in operations, training and engineering, as well as serving as Plant General Manager at Brunswick Nuclear Plant. Before joining the commercial nuclear industry, Noll was a Naval Nuclear Submarine Officer.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Eastern Nazarene College and is certified as a Licensed Senior Reactor Operator.

 

Tom Dougherty, Plant Manager

As the Plant Manager at Three Mile Island Unit 1, Thomas Dougherty is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the plant, including oversight of the operations, maintenance, work management, chemistry, environmental, and radiation protection programs at the station.

Dougherty joined Exelon in 1986 as a nuclear training supervisor at Limerick Generation Station in Pottstown, Pa. He also held positions at Limerick in Operations, Nuclear Oversight and Work Management. Before joining Exelon, Dougherty served in the U.S. Navy Nuclear program from 1980 to 1986.

Dougherty received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Widener University. He held a U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Senior Reactor Operator License, a Senior Reactor Operator Instructor Certification and completed the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Senior Nuclear Plant Management Course.
